What We Look For Funding Guidlines How to Apply Our Grantees History and Mission Links and Resources
Step 1: Potential applicants must submit a three-page letter of inquiry that includes a brief history of the organization, the population served, services offered, the amount of the funding request, and a list of supporters for the past three years.

It must also include a description of the proposed program:

 
its mission
objectives
outcomes achieved
staffing
budget
funding sources

Given the volume of requests, this initial process may take several weeks.

Step 2: If the request is a good fit with the Foundation's funding priorities, the applicant will be sent a New York Area Common Application form for completion and a description of any supplemental materials needed. Applicants will be notified of the Board's review timetable and any pertinent deadlines at the time the application is sent.
