How to Apply

Since inception, Tiger Foundation has provided more than $136 million in grants to organizations working to break the cycle of poverty in New York City. Our grantees have demonstrated consistently that provided with the right opportunities and circumstances, people have the assets and the abilities needed to build brighter futures for themselves and their families. To begin the application process, please complete the steps below.

Once you begin this process, you will need to complete all questions before submitting your inquiry through our web site. Feel free to print this page or copy it as a Microsoft Word file to complete off-line before submitting. If you prefer to send the completed document as a hard copy, you may send it to:

Tiger Foundation responds to all inquiries, but given the volume of requests, this initial process may take several weeks.

Mission Statement

	Please provide a comment on the organization’s history, its activities, and the central challenge it works to address.
Population served
	Please explain which NYC neighborhoods your organization and its programs serve, and provide basic demographic information about the New Yorkers with whom you work.
Purpose and amount requested
	Please describe the activities for which you are seeking Tiger Foundation support, and state the exact dollar amount of your request.
Brief description of key staff
	Do not submit full resumes at this time, but please identify senior leadership and key program staff and provide brief descriptions of their professional experience.
